Students, instructors, staff and community partners were on hand for an official ribbon cutting. Many also took part in campus tours and classroom demonstrations.

The Career Colleges and Schools of Texas (CCST) awarded the Houston campus College of the Year in 2016. This year, Dr. John Puryear and the Dental Hygiene program walked away with prestigious honors.
Dr. John Puryear is the Pharmacy Technician Lead Instructor at the Houston campus and won Texas Instructor of the Year. The Dental Hygiene Department won the annual CCST Innovator of the Year Award听for a new education model created to accommodate a census of 80 students instead of 60 students.
Pima Medical programs offered in Houston include听Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy and Veterinary Technician associate degree programs. The Houston campus also offers听Dental Assistant,听Medical Administrative Assistant,听Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant/Nurse Aide, 听Patient Care Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician听and听Veterinary Assistant certificate programs.
The Houston campus is located on Equity Drive in the Westway One building, directly off Beltway 8, using the Clay Road Exit to access the east frontage road to Westway Park. Entry to the campus is a breeze for students, faculty and staff with plenty of free parking.
