Pima Medical鈥檚 various campuses have not let COVID-19 stop them from recognizing their students鈥� accomplishments.
In Colorado Springs, the class of 2020 attended their graduation last month and received their certificates or degrees at Weidner Field, more traditionally used for hosting soccer, not college graduation ceremonies. Graduates of course practiced all safety and social distancing requirements.
El Paso鈥檚 graduation was a 鈥減arking lot parade.鈥� Students stayed in the safety of their vehicles and received their degrees or certificates via 鈥済rabber鈥� from Campus Director Pablo Fuentes.
Graduates at our Houston Campus were treated to the unique experience of a drive in ceremony. Students, family and friends converged at the Showboat Drive in Theater to celebrate, safely, and see themselves on the big screen.
For those campuses who have not been able to hold a graduation, there will be a virtual slide show, launching Thursday September 3. Students can view photos of all their classmates and friends and celebrate safely, wherever they may be!
